Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
(Psa 90:12 NIV)

*The length of our days is seventy years-- or eighty, if we have the strength;
yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.

(Psa 90:10 NIV)

For a 36 y.o. dad, he only has 1773 days-off to spend quality time with his wife and kids.

For a 50 y.o. pastor, he only has 7,300 days to visit and pray for the families in his congregation.

For Christians, we only have a meager thousands of weekends to lift our hands in worship here in this world.

See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time,
because the days are evil.

(Eph 5:15-16 NKJV)

How would you live your life knowing that you only have a thousand days?
How would you pursue your dreams in the light of God’s grace?

So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise.
Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.
Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.
(Eph 5:15-17 NLT)

Have you understood what the Lord wants you to do?
